Bring New Life to Old Machines

Description
: Terminals connected to a mainframe dominated the early days of computing. As computers become more common, falling prices of desktop computers resulted in a model where installing many independent workstations dominated. With the large amount of 'obsolete' hardware available, the original paradigm of a main server supporting terminals has now been resurrected as thin client computing. It is possible to breathe new life into outdated, low-cost hardware with the Linux operating system and Open Source Software.
